Misseto Bonsai Club

The name of the club is comprised of two suburbs of Toronto, Mississauga and Etobicoke. We are a small club of 20 to 25 members. We meet once a month for ten months of the year, and then have weekly workshops during the summer in members’ back yards. We have an annual show in a large local mall and have enclosed pictures of our 2003 show.

The club was started in 1981 by the students enrolled in a Bonsai course presented by Wilma Swain. Three of the original members, Penny Ferguson, Jim Campbell and Tony Frantzem, are still active in the club.
