MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
5th WBC -- MAY 28-31, 2005
By Frank Thomas President, Potomac Bonsai
Association

I have come to
realize that one of the best ways to improve your bonsai
skills is to attend as many exhibitions and conventions as
possible. At the 5th World Bonsai Convention (May 28-31, 2005)
and at the U.S. National Arboretum (where related events will
occur during the world convention), you will be able to see
and study many fine bonsai to expand your appreciation and
knowledge.
You will also have the
rare opportunity to see world-class talent conducting
workshops and doing demonstrations on exceptional material. In
addition to the workshops, demonstrations and exhibits, you
have the chance to shop for all your bonsai needs from a wide
range of vendors.
All conventions have
something to offer, but this event has much to interest those
who aren't involved with bonsai. Washington, with wonderful
museums and monuments, is a great attraction for the rest of
the family.
If you haven't already
made your reservations, now is the time to act. The convention
committee has worked hard and organized a terrific event. I'm
sure you will meet old friends, make new friends and expand
your horizons.
Don't miss it.
