Welcome to the 10th issue of the NABF

America and the upcoming 5th World Bonsai Convention. I thank Mary Bloomer,
Editor of the South Central Region, for her efforts in putting this issue
together; Linda Brant, Frank Thomas, Roger Case, Jack Sustic, Cheryl Manning and
Chuck Croft for their contributions to this issue; and Andy Rutledge, Peter
Bloomer and Olin Robie for providing images of South Central bonsai.
5th WBC REGISTRATION IS
STRONG As you may know, NABF
is the host of the 5th WBC, and I would like to thank all of you who have
already registered to attend the 5th WBC. As of today, we have over 500
registrants, and we still have a couple of months to go until the convention.
As explained in Feature # 5 by Jack Sustic, Co-Chair of the 5th WBC, a lot of
folks have been working hard to bring the bonsai world the best convention yet.
Through your participation, this grand event is sure to be a success, and it
will provide you with a lifetime of memories.
